Snagged a Black & Decker Professional Model 4076 "Wildcat" grinder off marketplace for $25 this week. I'm sure I already know the answer, but the threads on the spindle are standard 5/8-11 I'm assuming? I need to find a new nut for it, but for $25 I kind of expected to need some repairs. But it was otherwise complete, even with the guard and handle on it. From what I've been reading, this isn't a tool for amateurs and if I go to use it I need to hold on and pay extra attention to what I'm doing with it, lest it get away from me and live up to it's wildcat name.

Yes, the startup torque on those are impressive. Definitely need both hands solidly on the tool.

I was working as a trim carpenter for a buddy of mine between jobs and watched the masons using something similar to this on the third story of an apartment complex on a telehandler with no harnesses or tie offs etc. The OSHA man came by one day and cleaned house on their crew.

If it's anything like my B&D Industry & Construction Sawzall, that sucker's definitely a beast. Pretty sure I've got a Craftsman of the same era that has to be a rebrand of that Black and Decker.

My advice to you is to make sure you always have both hands on the grinder firmly in place at the proper locations; one hand on the side handle and one hand on the trigger handle. Don't ask me why; you don't want to know.
