I have been lurking for quite some time. A big thank you goes out to every one for the ideas I've gained. I discovered G.J. after the the big hole in my back yard got filled up with concrete. I never really thought to take pictures of the build as it was happening. I had a major battle with the city to get the permitts and ther another battle with the power company which took nearly a year. The building is done now so I just have to build some better work benches and my bar. Ihave some cabinets to hang and some more decorations. specs 28' wide X 33.5' deep X 12' ceiling with a 10' door. I added a 7' X 26' dirty/ grinding/ equipment room to the back. A little history I bought the house In 1991 and have been wanting to build this since. I'm 42 years old, married and, and have a 8 year old son who loves football and wants me to teach him how to weld. I'm a Utahn. enogh typing here are some pics

) shelf. It is aproximately 4'deep X 4.5' high X the whole 28' wide
It is a 1977 CJ-7 Levi edition Renegade. er um it use to be. It has a mildly built AMC 304 V8 the one it came with. I modified a GM throttle body injection to it. The transmission is a T-18 4 speed out of a '68 ford truck. A few month ago I finally got my Atlas 5.0 transfercase. Rear axel is a high pinion Dana 60 4.88 gears and a detroit. Front axel is a high pinion Currie 9" 4.88 gears and another detroit. rear suspention is a modified triangulated four link with 14" King coilovers. front is a modified 3 link with a pan hardbar with 14" King coilovers also. I'm going to change the front suspention though, it works well but unloads to much. curent Tires a 39" B.F.Goodrich sticky comp. compound tires mounted on 17X 9.5 Trailready beadlocks. After years of wheeling the wee out of it and cracking and welding and fish plating the frame, I just cut it off. I tubed the front tied it all together with the roll cage and the seat cradle. It is still just a trail Jeep it still has a floor and a a dashbord.
Here is my current Heep. Just did a tub off on her last winter. It's SOA on 2" BDS springs, 35s, OTT high steer, etc. Very mild mannered compared to your beast, but still fun! Workin' on a Jeep is the best therapy around!
