Hello All,

I have searched and have not found anyone mentioning the B2B Snap-On Industrial website. For you guys that work in an "industrial" position, oil and gas, aircraft, power generation, railroads, etc. Snap-On offers discounted prices on some items. The discounted prices are actually pretty good as well. You would need to sign up obviously, I used my company email address to sign up and have purchased a few things for work from there. Just thought I would throw this out there for you guys.

Edit: the B2B site is sometimes difficult to find all of their tools, sometimes it is easier to find something on their regular store site and just search for the part# on the b2b site.

Sorry to reply to such an old thread.. but...

What other information did you need for registration? EIN? Some very nice sets listed on the B2B site don't appear to be on the standard retail site.

Thanks

I signed up with my old employer, but my account had to be activated by our local industrial rep.

I have purchased items from our industrial reps before. I get the sense it was kinda sketchy. I was talking to one of our main reps a few years ago and he said "anything you need, I'll put you touch with my brother in law who has a truck route". Best I can tell you is:

1) If you want the B2B corporate discount, you need to work through your rep
2) There may be reasons why they can't do that
3) I've seen some of the prices my company pays for stuff and it seem like MSRP to me. But I could have been wrong.

Anecdote: I've seen the reps walking our lines with a clear plastic bag full of 96ACF needle nose pliers, just swapping any pair that looks even remotely dodgy.

As mentioned it has to go through a industrial rep. Businesses licensed to sell by SO industrial can loose their license if they sell un-approved businesses (I heard it happen locally, retailer had to beg to keep their license to sell to this specific, approved client. ). That said, depending on the customer, industrial prices can be considerably lower than truck prices, like 2/3 or less of truck price.
