B3800 Compressor Pump - Quality?

I've been looking at picking up a Quincy Q13160V for my home garage. After researching that model a bit I realized that the compressor doesn't use a Quincy pump but rather an IMC pump that was also used on Kobalts, Huskys and Harbor Freight compressors (among many others). Is this compressor overpriced seeing as a lot of bargain brands build their compressors with it or is it just a reliable pump that's been around for a while? I noticed that parts are at least very readily available.

I can get the compressor for about $670 with taxes delivered to my door. How does the price to quality ratio line up with this unit?

Edit: I'll be using mostly impact wrenches/nailers/ratchets with this thing, but I also plan to do some trim painting for the house at some point.

Not something you will hand down to children someday. Imported junk. Quincy is owned by Atlas Copco and they are using the name to sell the same **** as the big box stores. If you are going to buy one like that then get it at the best price - which is not under the Quincy name.

If you want a machine to last generations then you pretty much need to step up and buy a QR or rebuild a used QR.

Yeah that's what I was thinking. At that point I'd likely go with the 60 gallon puma since it is much cheaper and not likely all that less in quality (based on what I've read). I don't believe the QR line would get nearly enough use to be worthwhile.
