Did anyone else notice the huge crack in this "New" Baby Wilton?

It's huge of it's not disclosed, advertised as new, and you miss it in the picture.
That's a clear concise image.
Wow. I guess you don't appreciate honesty and full disclosure. If you don't mind buying a collector's item, advertised as new, with a significant defect the seller won't admit to, then bid away.
Are you the seller? You're avoiding my entire point, just like the seller.Guess it hasn't occurred to you that the OP intentionally took a picture of the crack. Also you obviously have no idea how these are constructed because if you did you'd know that small portion of the case has no bearing on the functionality of the vise. But if you feel so hell bent to tell the world the OP is a thief and a liar well then I suppose that's exactly how you should spend your day, frustrated, pissed and reaching out for approval.
If I were going to buy it, I'd simply inject that area with epoxy, repaint and use the damn thing and never think twice about it again.

A lie by omission is still a lie.
I expect full disclosure.

Instead of "I can't tell". That's a lie and someone I would not do business with. For online selling so much of what makes a transaction go well is meeting expectations, which is a fuzzy area for sure. But being forthright about what a buyer may perceive as a problem goes a long way toward that. I for one would not want to have a conversation that includes, "sorry you didn't notice that issue in the pictures."

I didn't miss anything. And I would consider it new but damaged. Does that damage mean jackshit as far as the functionality of that vise, no.
But what do I know, I'll still use brand new wrenches even if they came with some minor scratches straight from the factory.
Maybe you might want to really search baby bullets and see what these darn things can go for at times. I'd pay that 3 bills and never look back even with that HUGE crack.

Agreed. Acting shady because they probably know it's broken but want to cash in.
It's either a crack or large paint chip and they ought to ask someone nearby for a second opinion.
Don't worry though, someone will buy it and then they both have to deal with it.
Lets see you put your money where your mouth is.
I always wanted to say that![]()

I suppose another option would have been to simply send the seller a message asking about the crack.
"See sellers listing for full details and description of ANY imperfections."
The seller only discloses that there are initials engraved, not that there is a crack. The photo that the crack is visible is far from a clear disclosure of a crack.
This is a shady ad in my book, and probably against Ebays rules, based on their definitions.

The og sticker on the front of it is cool as hell. Ive never seen a baby bullet with the og sticker. I bet that little baby makes it to $350-$400

I did. That's what started this. He replied, "I can't tell", then told me not to bid!, including the exclamation point.
Well, I'll add 2 things. While it's hard to tell for sure by the pics if it is a crack, or painted over chipped paint, I'm pretty sure if I had it in my hand I could tell. Also sounds like some of you guys seem to think any questions asked will then show up in the listing. That's not the case, it's only if the seller wants it too. I think the seller is less than honest.
