Welcome back and Congrats!

I grew up in Aviation in Alaska, family owned and ran an air taxi/fishing lodge.
Got my Pilots Liscense in 1990, Float rating in 1991. Decided not to be a commercial pilot and got my A&P in 1998.
Got out of GA in 2004 and worked on turbine helicopters until 2015.

Cool, I worked for ERA and Evergreen Helicopters.
206B3, 206-L3, AS350 B2/3, 212, 412, 412EP, a little BO-105 and BK-117. I helped push a 500 in the hangar once.
Utility, Firefighting, Medevac, Offshore Oil, Helitours, heliskiing...
Even helped with a couple filmaking operations including Red Bulls 'The Art of Flight', 'The Frozen Ground' and an episode of Larry Csonkas outdoors show covering the Arctiman race.
