I measured the joints they cut in the foor of my garage and they are about 3/16" wide and about 1.5" deep. Looking for backer rods the smallest I see are 3/8". Do I need backer rods for that small of a crack? Any brand name suggestions on what you guys are using to fill the cracks? I haven't decided on the vendor for the expoy yet, does that matter at this point?

I will probably be renting a diamond sander, should I do that before I seal the joints?

I have about 168 linear feet to fill...

Thanks!

Use a fast cure product and don't rod it.
If you are using an epoxy product you can grind, fill and coat.
If urethane based, grind, coat and then fill.
