Backpack Yard Sprayer

Anyone have recommendations? Had a cheapier HF one and it worked for a year and leaking at every connection now...plus the straps are uncomfortable. Thanks!

Ryobi 18v backpack chemcial sprayer. I'm trying to sell my 20v B&D model so I can get the Ryobi. Partly due to the B&D being the only tool that uses that battery, which really isn't an issue as it lasts forever. The bigger reason is it is much more comfortable. I know it was sold out several times this last year (first availability).

I do own the 1gal Ryobi sprayer, and HIGHLY reccomend if that or a 2-gal size would fit your needs. They did the 1-gal size the first year they made it, then offered a 2-gal the next year. You can order the 2-gal reservoir (& longer straw) from Ryobi parts for under $15 or so shipped. Nice to have different reservoirs to cut down on rinsing them out (as thouroughly).

Hmm just got the hf model this year and it’s worked well. Put through about 20 gallons this year. Made sure I winterized it

I might have agreed with you before going the battery route. Once you stop having to use your arm to pump, you will never go back. You always have good spray pressure, and frees your other hand up to browse GJ

I'm hoping Milwaukee makes a M12 variant, that is under 1 gallon. It would be perfect having all my manual sprayers replaced.

My brother has a Stihl that he likes. Last i looked i wasnt overly shocked at the price, although being stihl you are paying for the name somewhat. My dad has a roundup brand (not sure who actually makes it) that he has used for several years. i personally have a big enough property i use an electric sprayer that i pull behind mower or ATV. way too easy....

I've had good luck with the Stihl SG20. For me, it is more comfortable and sprays better than the cheaper one I had picked up at Costco. Seems to be a lot of complaints about them on Stihl's website, but mine is about 5 years old and have not had any issues despite me being terrible about cleaning it out after use.

Solo here, lever pump, 5 gal. (I think). It works well for smaller applications. It is simple to pump it up as you work, but I can see electric would be more handy.

I have a Stihl one thats good. Also have an ATV one that gets 99% of the work now. Go ATV if you can
