Backsaw rehab

[Gasgt1]

Working in my shop one night, I decided that this homely Disston backsaw needed some attention.




After a couple of hours with some rasp work, this is the transformation I came up with.

Same handle with some detail work.
It has gone from an ugly duckling to one of my favorites

It has been sharpened and put to work.
Not sure if it really cuts better or just feels better using it.

It is now my most used back saw.
