Is there anything out there like these that aren't hundreds or even thousands of dollars each? I'd like to get one or two so I don't have to one hand a 1" impact and hold a wrench until it jams against something.

I’ve seen some others that might have been Swedish. There was a sort of handle / stop, and interchangeable wrench ends.

To be honest, I think the Lokrite is the cheap option!

It would be simple enough to get your average impact socket and bandsaw a ring or 3 out of it, mainly to get the internal hex. Bonus points for cleaning it up on the lathe but a flap disk or file would easily get the rough edges smoothed down.

Weld a tab to it in whatever configuration you need, best not to fast cool the weld to maintain strength.

As a backup against a 1" sq drive mpact use might need something more serious than what I have in my head......

Looks to me like you might could make one fairly easy out of a slogging wrench by heating it and bending it over the flange to make something like a Piper backup tool, the kind that catch the flange instead of the next bolt & you hit with a hammer to release.

Edit: Just make sure it's formed to fit tight and seat well on the bolt and the flange. If it isn't it might well turn into a projectile once you put a 1" impact on her. There won't be anything good about that except maybe that it'll likely be flying towards your buddy not your body. o_O
