This is a great forum with a ton of helpful information for those of us with the garage junkie disease. Here's a shot of my foundation waiting for concrete. 28x36 with a 10x25 lean-to being added to the back for yard tools and green house for the wife.

I'd like to build a 26x36. I'll follow your prgress closely!

Where did you get you plastic vapor barrier? How thick is it, if you don't mind my asking?

Added concrete yesterday. We should have steel sometime Friday. Still trying to decide how to insulate the building. I ran the power and a waterline from the house. The vapor barrier was installed by the building crew, it looks like heavy poly available at any hardware store. More to follow have to get back to work now so I can pay for everything.

Nice! Looks like you're somewhere in the Hill Country. I hope to retire down there...within an hour's drive of Austin, preferably.

Speed (in Dallas for now)

Looks like a great start. I'm going to guess by the amount of Juniper he's in/around San Antonio, specifically North West off I-10. Not so far as Junction but out that way.

Progress

Work is moving along. I Installed a temp power panel for the crew's welder, chop saw,and radio. Added a retaining wall/ flower bed to keep the wife happy and the crew has most of the frame up. We should have sheeting completed this week.
