I was looking at my current back yard shed that it used to store my lawn car equipment, random outside stuff. The shed is completely wood and the sides are showing signs of rotting. I was talking with my wife and would like to explore the option of getting a bigger shed. My question is, what is the cheaper/more cost effective way to get a bigger shed? Here are the options I would like to compare.

-build from scratch completely
-build with one of the kits availible were it comes with everything, plans, materials, I just have to put it together
-buy on built already and have it dropped off.

Any other ideas will be appreciated also. The shed I have now is a wood floor and if I remember right is a 8x12. (at work right now, so I cant measure it:lol:)

I've got an 8x8 wooden shed near the front of the house, and I need a larger one. I jacked up the 8 footer and dragged it to the rear yard, and will use it as a firewood storage shed. I'm having someone come in and build me a 12x12 in the original spot, treated wood in the floor, piano hinges and 8' walls with a 4' loft for around $2400. I'll have to paint it. Done.

Too many things to consider--how handy/skilled are you, how much time do you have, and are there people that will help with the parts you cannot manhandle by yourself?
If you enjoy building, then that is the way to go.
Do you want a concrete floor? Can you pour the concrete yourself? I suggest you make sure your comparisons are for similar build outs. If you have the time to build, I think there are free online plans available that could be adapted to your site.
