This is my third thread... the first is My Backyard Texaco showing off my Texaco collection in the barn at my old house. I will continue to post the build of the new Texaco garage on the original thread. The second thread is my attached garage remodel at our new home. And this thread will be to show the ongoing build of our Party Bar Barn.

Our new house has an awesome outdoor concrete deck with outdoor fireplace. It is huge and a great space for entertaining, so we thought why not build a cottage style barn (10X16) to make into an indoor/outdoor bar.

I love collecting old things and have wanted to get a barber chair for some time. This space is the perfect extension for me to add a barber chair to my collection. We have named the bar the "Barbershop Bar and Grill". It's a work in progress for sure.

I will post pictures as the build progresses...

The bar barn progress was halted temporarily while we finished up the remodel of the attached garage (see my other thread for pics of that job). We have most of the wiring done inside, next we will trench to run the power from the house to the electrical panel we put in the new barn. After that we will put the insulation in and then drywall. Working on building the custom inside bar as well.... pics forthcoming....

Haven't posted any updates lately so here goes... Been working on getting the interior of the Bar done. Installed all the electrical (inside and out), insulation, drywall, flooring, paint and casement. Also put in air conditioner and heater. Next step is a friend of mine builds custom fit bars for specific application. He is set to start on the bar next week, so hopefully will have some more cool pics to share soon. Hoping to have it finished for summertime parties.

Interesting concept, I like it. I like the way you finished the interior with the exposed/finished trusses, gives it character.

Getting closer and closer! We have already hosted out first party and have added a few more decorations since these pics. I wanted it to have the feel of an early 60's neighborhood "dive" bar so except for the one neon I got at way too good of a price to pass up, I am trying to use signs from the 60's. Though the Fireball, Jagermeister and margarita machines are obviously newer... Happy with how it is coming along!

we finally finished up the bar and had our second party... but really it was our first big party. The bar was a big hit )as you can tell from the "after party" pics... but it's all cleaned up and looking great and everyone really enjoyed it! We named it the Barbershop Bar and Grill - tagline: get buzzed at the Barbershop. Really the name was just an excuse for me to buy a barber chair!

Awesome, Looks great!!
Is that a Fireball bottle or something else? Can't zoom in far enough. Looks odd for some reason.

It is a Fireball machine. There is a Jagermeister machine on one side of it and a dacquirri machine on the other side. They all got a workout during that party!

Bar turned out great. Love the name and tag line. Very unique.
What time does the barbershop open. I need to take a little of the top.....of that bottle of Crown.
He’s a tip for your buddies who tell their wives, “Honey, going to the barbershop”. They take a baggie to their real haircut and collect their clippings. Then when they leave your barbershop, they can sprinkle clippings on the shoulders.

We hosted our annual party (we call it a Car B Que) and had about 100 people join us Saturday night. Always a great time! My wife spends two days smoking and cooking: BBQ Brisket, Pulled Pork, BBQ Chicken, Smoked Hot Wings, plus all kinds of sides and desserts. We open up the bar and all drinks are free. This party costs us about $1000 each year, but we really enjoy hosting it for all of our great friends! Here are a few pics of some friends cars hanging out at our Texaco garage (another thread is devoted to that garage)....
