Guys we can agree to disagree. If my employee handled the transaction like this at my company I would be sitting with him while he was writing a apology to one of my customers. I guess I have a higher bar for customer service.

Yes I know HF is what it is, I waited on that line to buy everything, waiting again was not happening. I got this taken care of in one more trip than I wanted to and I will survive.

If you think HF dealt with this correctly fine your opinion. I disagree.

Enjoy your weekend.

I really think you have to take the service you got in its context. When you are shopping at a bargain basement joint you should not expect exemplary customer service. If I was paying tool truck prices I would expect great customer service. You are simply trying to have your cake and eat it too.

Took only a week or two before they knew "no tomatoes" meant "NO tomatoes".

:p

I'm sure they also learned "no tomato guy's" order meant extra spit/boogers/*** wipe.

That is so damn funny and true... So how does drive thru boogers taste anyway? :lol_hitti

Are you allowed to use "a few 25% off coupons" at the same time? I thought it was one per customer per visit. Maybe the cashier didn't screw up, maybe it rejected the 25% off coupon because you weren't allowed to use more then one?

I was told the same thing when I purchase the hydraulic crimping tool .. could not use more than one 25% coupon per customer per day.

If your time and gas is worth money then don't go back to the store during a super busy-*** sale!! I can see how you're pissed OP, but you kind of brought some of that on yourself. I'm not saying they were right...I don't know what the right thing to do would have been. They did make a mistake but you have to be reasonable too.

I DO know that if I was waiting in a line 100 people long like you describe (which wouldn't happen because I would leave and come back later), and some guy cuts in, and then the register isn't working right or whatever and it turns into a big pain in the *** and takes 10 minutes to get a manager (you know how these "quick fixes" go sometimes).....well, I would probably be ready to cut your throat. Me and the 100 people behind me. Just sayin'. Now rock on with your tools.
