Lurked here long enough, figured I'd post pics of my garage.

It's not really "done" I don't think. I'd still like to put some more art on the walls or something. Also like to figure out a "neat" way of organizing some of my larger things upstairs.. but it's a work in progress.

Nice setup! Your video answered some of the questions I had after looking at the pictures. I think I'll steal your idea on using a smart plug for lights over my workbench and some that I plan to put under my lift. And that loft is sweet. I like that you connected it to the entry door to your house.

Yeah it was a real PITA before we did the extension. I was glad for the space, but now I have a whole new work area.

The bluetooth plugs are neat right? And don't cost very much and pretty easy to setup so yeah. Plus you kind of feel like Tony Stark telling Alexa to turn on the lights LOL.

I see a lot of empty wall space that could hold extra stuff.

I'm doing a lot of built-in shelving to max out my space; extra tall or narrow/shallow as the space allows. Doesn't have to take up a footprint on the floor either.

Yeah so on the side under the loft, that area is where I do painting. At some point I'm going to run a divider in that area to keep the paint from drifting all over (as it has done unfortunately). So I can't really put anything against the wall there. And don't want to put anything against the wall near the lift so I'm kind of restricted to the upstairs.

It might be worth another look. My floor space is very limited also. Going vertical helped a lot. I kept some of the stuff on my sidewall on wheels, also kept lower shelving shallower, growing deeper (24") higher on the wall.

Thanks guys :) Yeah I've had that Fox since new. Pretty crazy. It's probably the only car I never want to part with.
