I bought Ryobi PEX clamp crimp (tool only) because of the low price since Milwaukee's only PEX tools are the expansion type and cost more than I want to spend.

Before I invest in a Ryobi battery and charger, I thought I might look for an adapter. Does anyone have first hand experience with the "Badapter" from the UK?

A vote to try the adapter. I made one to run Ridgid batteries in my Dewalt nicad tools, then sold the nicad stuff and modified the adapter to run a Ryobi hedge trimmer. A few years later I added a Ryobi brad nailer and purchased an adapter. I also modified my sons power wheels jeep to use the Ridgid batteries.

To me, sticking with one battery platform simplifies things.
