Bahco Drop Forged vs V-Steel

I'm thinking of buying some Bahco adjustable wrenches, and the two types that I'm seeing the most of say either "drop forged" or "v-steel". The ones that say "drop forged" generally look older. Does anyone know the difference in quality between these two types of Bahco tools? I'm assuming the drop forged ones are stronger, but how do the v-steel ones stack up in comparison? Any info would be welcome. Thanks.

I'm no expert, but my guess is that these are some very old tools and drop forged is probably simple high carbon steel. V-steel is probably Vanadium steel that makes it stronger and lighter. It's just a guess tho.

Both wrenches are drop forged, however the one that says so on the handle is simply made out of carbon steel. You can easily spot the difference in the two by looking at the handle. The carbon steel ones have straight handles, and the v-steel ones have a wedge shaped handle. They should be equally strong.

The vanadium steel wrenches should have a higher yield strength coupled with improved ductility. Between the two, all else being equal, I’d pick them.
