bahco vice

Anyone know anything about a Bahco vise that has 150 on the side. Says made in USA,

I picked up a used one in great condition. Just dirty. I need to soak in veinegar to get some slight surface rust off or just sand blast the whole thing for prep for painting.

Any info would be greatly appreciated

Are you sure its not a Babco?

Your right, now that I look at it closer it is Babco. No marking in terms of COO. I wonder if its a older one made in USA. Just says Oakland CA

Looking at that the Thorsen Tool Co. site, it looks like Babco has been making vises for sometime. They make a nice sturdy vise. Not popular.

I just ran across a Babco bench vise model 390 ad on CL, Chicago. The jaws measure 9 inches, a beast, albeit made in China. Does anyone have any information on it?
