I have decided that it is time to step up and move on from the 4x6 bandsaw that I bought for $50 from a guy at work a little over a year and a half ago. The 2 things I dislike the most about the 4x6 are the useless vise if you have more than one piece to cut and the nuisance of cuttings miters and having to move the machine.
I'm looking at dual miter machines in the 1" blade class. I for some reason keep coming back to the Baileigh 260M. There are a few other brands out there that I have looked at as well (Ellis) but I seem to keep coming back to this one model in particular.

Any of you guys have any thoughts, suggestions, or experience with Baileigh?

Thanks

They have lots of cool stuff. Made in USA I assume? - seems like everything is of nice quality

Any idea on what that thing goes for $ ??. I'd be interested in thier pricing, but I'm sure they want you to talk with a salesman to discuss your business needs.

I've seen it listed for round 3800 several places including ebay. I know the Ellis saw is cheaper but it lacks the flood coolant system.

Whether or not it is made in the US, I'm really not sure. Their headquarters are in Manitowoc Wisconsin but they don't make big claims about Made in the USA so I kind of think they are not US made.

I've looked at the Jet saws but didn't see one with the dual swing miter head. On top of that I have a generally low opinion of Jet equipment.
