Looking for a balancer puller for chryslers. I have the normal yoke style balancer puller that has always worked for me. But now I'm looking at head gaskets for a 3.2L chrysler and going to do the timing belt and water pump at the same time.
So my search for a chrysler balancer puller begins. I see there are a couple different ones out there. I'm looking at the OTC one here, http://www.tooltopia.com/otc-tools-6667.aspx.
Then there is this one made by OTC that comes with a round plate of some sort. Is the ring just a pulley holder and is it worth the extra 55 bucks?
Seems like all the brands make one, lisle, otc, KD tools, schley, etc. Anyone have a recomendation on which one to get and what to look for?
The schley one looks like the same one snap on sells. http://www.tooltopia.com/schley-64900.aspx
Then there is a lisle one that comes with some adaptors for dodge 5.9L engines. I don't have a dodge but when I make a tool purchase like this I like to buy one that will handle what ever down the road.
So looking for recomendations on what is the best puller to spend my money on. What all I need the kit to come with. Pullers are one area where I don't like to skimp on quality so want to get a nice kit that will work when needed, probably won't be often but when I buy something like this I like to get something that I know will be up to the task when needed!
Thanks for any recomendations on this!
