I picked this little jewel up about three years ago. It ran when I purchased it but was very sad looking. Most all of the paint was faded and chalky looking. The cast iron parts where rusted. I started restoring it three years ago by sand blasting the CI wheel shrouds and painting them blue. But then I stopped. This past week I finished, but had to purchase a different color for the motor and pedestal because they quit making the blue color. I went with a dark grey.
My question is I did not lubricate the bearings when I had it all apart. I was not sure if they needed it or not. There is no play in the spindle that I can discern and it runs amazingly quiet. Should I take it back apart and lube the bearings?
Also any idea how old this Baldor Grinder is?
Finally, the pedestal had a long vertical Baldor sticker on it. It was originally put on crooked and it looked terrible. I pulled it off but would like to replace it.

Any idea where to purchase a new sticker.
