Baldor matching paint color?

Does anyone happen to know if Baldor sells matching touch-up or spray paint for their products? I scoured their website with no luck then sent them an email. Expecting a reply maybe Monday.

I got lucky and was able to buy a like-new Baldor grinder (7306D) and matching pedestal for very cheap, and just today bought a used Baldor DC10 dust collector.

The dust collector is in great shape and runs perfectly, but the mounting plate is really scratched up badly. I don't know how it happened, but I need to paint it before it begins rusting. If possible I would like to repaint it the original color so it matches the rest of the rig so am hoping to find some matching paint. If not, I'll just shoot it with black or grey but want to try to find the blue-grey paint first.

Yeah they sell touch up or did, part # MG1000G30.

I'm pretty sure that's a Gemini Coatings part number so If you can't get it from a Baldor rep try that.

Lu-Max, while not a perfect match, I used Rustoleum Professional Machine Grey for a complete re-do on my big buffer. Next to the other buffer that is original, I can tell a difference, but 99% of guys wouldn't. So, I think it's safe to say, if you painted the complete dust collector, it would jive just fine.

And theknurl, who pissed in your cheerios? This is GJ....where we like tools. Did you forget? You want rusty ****? Cool, rock on. Most of us don't.

I found this, so assuming mine is either the Reliance Blue/Green or Medium Royal Blue.

You could also try electrical-panel gray. Most electrical supply houses will carry it. I know it's available for Schneider Electric (Square D) panels, and it's a very similar color, maybe a bit darker than the Baldor gray.

I spoke with a Rep from Baldor earlier today, she is going to get back to me by tomorrow.
I found plenty of grey paint, but the grinder and stand is more of a bluish-grey.

Here is what the mounting plate looks like now, shows why I want to paint it.

Lu-Max,

Pulled up this older thread. I just got an 8250W that I am trying to get back to the original color. What did you end up doing?

Based on what some of the other posts said I found that Gemini sells paint through Kelly-Moore Paints. However, I don't know whether they sell it in a spray or not.

Thanks in advance,
Robert
