Look for a power transmission house in the yellow pages. Motion industries is one we use out here on the west coast. They will have them. That is a very common bearing.

If you want local, look for a bearing house or industrial supplier.

Online, Amazon and eBay have lots of choices.

Make sure to stick to name-brand bearings. I've ordered several Japanese Nachi bearings on eBay and always been pleased. Not USA made, but good quality.

The USA requirement may be tough.

If you need a size 6205 then you'll have lots of choices.

If you don't know, 6205 is the bearing size, so any brand 6205 will work. Make sure whatever you order has the same shielding as the one you currently have.

I get my bearings from www.vxb.com

I have purchased Nachi bearings from them. But, the prices for their website are higher than they sell for on ebay.

For example, VXB sells a 6205 Nachi bearing for $10.37 shipped on ebay:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/6205-2NKE-N...=BI_Heavy_Equipment_Parts&hash=item540a444395

But on the VXB website the exact same bearing would cost me $10.37 + $5.83 shipping, so $16.20.

I've actually noticed this phenomenon with quite a few ebay sellers. It's not clear to me why they choose to make purchases on their own website more expensive.

Google: "Philadelphia Ball and Roller Bearing Company". No web site, but you can give them a call.

I just saw that they have been bought out but if the guy still works there this is the cat to talk to, total bearing nut!! You can give him rough dimensions of a bearing and he could give part numbers off his head. I used to deal with them when I worked at an indy parts store when we couldn't find a bearing.

I have had success in dealing with this outfit.
www.usabearingsandbelts.com

Beware, I have had decent and horrible bearings from this supplier. Be careful if you are buying a lot at a time, get samples first. Curt is a nice guy though, and he takes care of things when the bearings are bad (returns).

I get my bearings from www.vxb.com

I have had good luck with these guys. Their service is pretty good too.

Look for a power transmission house in the yellow pages. Motion industries is one we use out here on the west coast. They will have them. That is a very common bearing.

BIG second for motion industries. We get our INA bearings from them. Best prices and real commercial customer service. These guys know bearings.

6205 is a standard bearing you might check at napa. You should be able to check for A bearing supplier in your area. Like Kaman or Bearing Belt & Chain.

The cheapest place I've found is ebay. As long as it is a common size, you should have no trouble.

McMaster-Carr .... www.mcmaster.com - I work here and we have these bearings in stock and the best customer service anywhere! Good luck!

I order from McMaster Carr every month or so. Everything the catalog is first class and they don't rip you off on shipping. My experience is that they use the smallest box that will work and don't compute shipping until the order is packaged and weighed. http://www.mcmaster.com/
