I have several older Craftsmen upper and lower cabinats. Has anyone ever changed the old slide type drawer runners out for ball bearing type slides? Is it even possible?
I have a newer Craftsman with the ball bearing slides, nice...
Thanks and Merry Christmas to all,

It can be done but will likely exceed the difference in value to just go buy a new BB box

I doubt the new slides would fit.. The ball bearing slides need a 1/2 inch of clearance on each side to fit. The best way to see if it will fit is to measure the clearance of the drawer side to the box's frame.
