It’s not something I’ve seen in the wild. An interesting thought, although air hammers stroke is usually much longer than an sds drill/hammer, the result for a pickle fork could be similar?

I have used the ground rod driver on concrete anchors and ground rods and the experience was different than you would expect from an air hammers for sure. Same with chipping concrete or block. Can’t imagine chiseling off a steel rivet with an sds hammer.

is it a thing or do i have to weld my own?
Not a thing. Air hammers hit faster, are an 1/8 of the size and actually designed for the task. Buy a cheapo deluxe air hammer and move on. Or just smack the ball joint with a hammer and it’ll release.
