OTC 7249, around $100. C-press is forged in USA with mostly USA made parts.

Buy the Otc, then use sch 80 pipe for adapters. That's going to be your true value.

Literally any of the affordable ones on the market will do just fine. I've done many balljoints with a Harbor Freight set. Any of the non Snap On presses I've ever put my hands on (AP, OTC, Matco) felt and looked exactly the same, price was the only difference

I have an OTC set for warranty purposes and an Astro Pneumatic adapter kit. I use mine professionally.

My old shop had the otc press & hf adapters. They do a lot of fleet vans & nobody has their own kit so that stuff gets used a lot & works great

I have a OTC 6530 kit that works out well 70% of the time. But considering all the miller specific kits I own and the amount of money those cost is a pretty damn good percentage in my book.

I bought the Harbor Freight kit and I'd stay away from it. After a few uses it the c clamp bent open. Reading reviews on the HF website it seems like this is a very common issue with this kit. I'd spend a bit more and get an OTC one.

If you only need it once, getting it from a loaner tool program at Advance or Autozone isn't a bad idea.

OTC or Astro tools are decent. Both way better than Harbor Freight unless you want a Snap On set.

My HF press bent open too. I bought the OTC clamp and still use the HF adapters with it at home. Clamp was like $100 on the tool truck. At work I use a full OTC kit that belongs to the shop owner.

I use the OTC 6530 professionally. Its a good set for the price. Covers most things.
