Speed bump. ^^^ I actually have one of the hand drills you mentioned for rock climbing and I've always use it with a 3lb estwing drilling hammer. Of course that was before cordless rotary hammers were readily available.
I use that same hammer for masonry and pounding stakes it just a good weight in a small package....
In the shop on punches and chisels I like my 3 snappy deadblows 2 ball peins a 16oz and 40oz and a 24oz flat bronze face.
