It's what was laid over the brick in my parent's old place. Just be advised, like any other hard surface floor, that it is a bit nosier than carpet or brick and does flex a little, based on the underlayment used.

My daughter had it installed in her house about 7 years ago. Easy to install. Looks nice. No wear isses so far

There was a while, 15-25 years ago or so (failing memory), when it was new, that it wasn’t that great. Scratched and wore. May be better now.

It'll be fine as long as you don't own any pandas.
I installed it everywhere in my house that wasn't tile 20 years ago, it's held up really well and the only place it doesn't still look new is in the kitchen. There are areas that wore through the top clear layer where I stand when prepping food to cook and usually where I stand while eating. I think that's partly my fault for not keeping it as clean as I should have, I often stand in those areas with work boots on when grabbing something to eat real quick. The damage started showing after 15-16 years.
We have always have at least one big dog and two cats running around on it, and had my son and his friends racing around for the first 15 years. None of that seemed to effect it.
It's one of the hardest woods and it took 3-4 different saw blades to find one that would cut it without burning the edges and the blade. It's also super straight and flat, much easier to put down compared to normal hardwood wood flooring.
I used the vertical strip stuff, it's harder and stronger than the stuff made from horizontal pieces. Looks like maple, in fact I used a piece as a filler strip in my maple cabinets and it matches exactly, you can't tell unless you get really close and look at the grain, but the color is exactly the same.
Mine has some sort of aluminum/ceramic coating on it, super tough. I also left a sample outside in water for a month to test before buying it, it looked perfect afterwards.
I am extremely happy with it and would do it again. I plan on sanding down the kitchen damage and fixing it, I think I can just feather out the bad area and recoat a section to blend it in.
