Couldn't pass up the Bauer 1/2" belt sander for 29$, it actually feels pretty solid and has good power, but not cordless. Then looking at the dewalt dcm200b cordless it has variable speed which is always nice to have. So I ordered the dewalt off Amazon and while there I couldn't help checking out the dewalt cordless belt sander dcw220b. I like its a 3 x 21 and the reviews are pretty good. I have the ryobi and it really is
a waste of money, so I'm hoping the dewalt is much better. Interestingly the 3 x 21 belt sander is cheaper than the 1/2" belt sander? Anyone have the dewalt? Like it? For 29$ I think it's worth keeping the bauer, good in the shop where power is close. Will do a comparison once I get the dewalt.

I purchased the Bauer, but have not used it yet.

Looks pretty beefy, with the exception of the end roller, that looks pretty cheesy, so we'll see how it holds up.

It was only $30

What are you trying to accomplish? A 3” belt sander and a 1/2” file belt sander are for completely different things.

The 3" belt popped while ordering the 1/2", thanks amazon, but I want the 3" to replace the useless 3 x 18 ryobi.
