Bandsaw angle scale

Hello, I recently purchased an older HF bandsaw and got it working pretty well. The one thing I wish it had, that is on later
versions, is the angle scale. HF says they don't carry them. It is #170 in the exploded view. Does anyone know where I can
get one? Or, does anyone have an HF saw that they could put a tape measure to the scale so I can replicate the angles on some
strip of metal?

I think some precut blocks of common angles to place between back jaw and the work would be more handy. Or set your jaw for different angles and scribe and number punch the base; probably more accurate than that factory scale anyway

I keep meaning to make some angle blocks, but I rarely cut angles on my horizontal saw.

Mine was soo far out of wack once I got everything shimmed to cut square I scribed the base with 90 and 45. I marked it with heavy permanent marker and then scribed again to make the fine line stand out.

Judging by the parts lists diagram you posted, looks like the 4x6 bandsaw? If yes, it's just a RF-128 clone so you should be able to get one from any bandsaw based on that platform.

HF would have been the cheapest if they had it but Grizzly is probably the other easiest place to buy it.

I never trust any machine's angle scale for real accuracy. I get my angle from my layout or a protractor with a sliding bevel square, then use that to set the machine.
