I'm looking for bandsaw blade suppliers.

I'm familiar with sawblade.com but after
just about 2-3 minutes of total incompetence
i just hung up.

I've seen the saw center website but couldn't
make heads or tails out of anything there.

Thanks for any help.

Wood?
Metal?
Band Mill?

The manufacturer in Sweden that we have teamed up with many years ago is the granddaddy of band saw blade technology. They invented the applied science of Electro-heat induction hardening (known as high-frequency hardening) in Sweden in 1946. This technology breakthrough was a closely held secret for 40 years and has given them and us a big advantage over our competition.

My dad swears by Timber Wolf blades. MY bandsaw doesn't work well enough to even care about the blades so I have some rusty blades from the 70's on mine.

Most industrial supplies will weld sawblades to length. I use Bahco on my 16" doall and Amada and M.K. Morse on the wf wells horizontal.

I ordered a bandsaw blade from SuperCut Bandsaw Co. a few months ago and was very happy with the blade and with the ordering experience. The rep I spoke with was knowledgeable and professional and the blade was reasonably priced. Give them a call. 1-800-356-9918

Absolutely love my Timberwolf blades. Not the cheapest but well worth the money.

You can order blades directly from Timberwolf for cheaper than I have seen anywhere else. Just took delivery of four new blades today in fact. Avg price in the low $20s for a 105" blade in my case (1/4" up to 1/2").

Was the supplier you called and were not satisfied called Bandsaw Blades .com
Or http://BandSawBladesDirect.com?
I was shopping for a 1/4" x 24tpi blade.
I received an order from http://BandSawBladesDirect.com last week but have not used them yet. They are Lennox brand blades.
I ordered them from their web site, I did not call them. I have to say the customer service was poor at best, they sent me an initial email acknowledging the order but that was the last I heard from them. I ended up calling them to track my order and they told me it would be sent that day. (5 days after I placed the order) I received the blades two days later, two days after that they sent me an email telling me the blades were shipped!
The shipping charges were over $15 for two blades.
Next time I will try another source.

Post #1 made me chuckle, I called Sawblade.com yesterday to ask about quantity
discounts, and if I needed to order all the same TPI to get the 2pc discount. Simple question....I thought. The idiot on the phone right off the bat says "what state are you in"?
And I ask the question again ignoring her. Then she says "what's your last name"?
And I went OFF. Like WTF does my last name have to do with the question??
She says "if you're going to order a blade, I'll need your info and your name".
And I say JUST ANSWER MY QUESTION....I'll order online!
Finally got the answer and hung up.

I did order 2 blades, 1/2" wide and 129" long.
Shipping was $17.50 which seems outrageous for 2 blades that probably don't weigh 2 pounds. I want to find a better source for sure.
I use Wikus blades on my cutoff saw and they seem superior to any other blades I've ever used including Starrett (junk), Lennox, Sterling, and Simmonds.
But, Wikus won't sell direct, you have to use a distributor, and the place I call has clueless people as well. I don't order them too often because they last forever, but every time I do order the first thing I have to tell the distributor is YES, you ARE a distributor for Wikus bandsaw blades! Then they call Wikus, and go thru all the BS, order the blades in, call me back, ship them to me, etc. BUT....the blades are SO good, and last SO long it actually seems worth the trouble. I just got a Jet 16" Vert. saw and didn't feel like going thru the BS, so tried sawblade.com. But. I'm thinking, never again.

Does anyone have a Laguna Band saw Blade ?

I have several. 1/4", 1/2", and 1"bimetal blades. They work well. I also have a 3/4" carbide tooth Laguna for resawing. Very expensive but makes silky smooth cuts. Oh, these are all 150" inch blades for a 18" throat bandsaw with 12" resaw capacity.
