Anyone have a favorite vendor you buy your commercial bandsaw blades from? My local guy has closed and am in need of a new source.

Thanks

I get mine here, not sure about your commercial usage needs.

For my last bandsaw blade order I tried out bladeserpent.com and was quite impressed. Good prices on my favorite blades (Lenox Diemaster 2 in a selection of tooth profiles), beautiful weld and surface finishing, and fast turnaround. Free shipping on orders over $100 doesn't hurt either!

Most welding and industrial supply houses will order you blades to size. Just ask them who they rep and get whatever brands work for you.

Personally, I use Amada, Bahco, Starrett and some MK morse, although I am trying to not buy MK Morse anymore.

Amada Protector blades in a 3-4 variable pitch are awesome for most structural sawing on a horizontal saw.

Ah man, you can't just leave us hanging. Why not? What should we be looking for?
They’re just not as well made and don’t have the life of the Amada or Bahco blades.

They’re not as bad as a lot of cheap blades, but they aren’t as well made as the good stuff.

Nobody rolls their own?

I have a blade welder but have taken to tig'ing them.
Only in an emergency.

Blade coil isn’t that much cheaper than a finished blade, and the opportunity cost of my time is worth enough that it’s better economics to buy pre-welded blades
