A member who at one time opened a classified thread has been subsequently "BANNED." If I attempt to contact the member via PM-directed email (PM option was not available) about an item in his classified thread, will he still receive the email?

Thanks, guys. This guy's location says Front Royal, VA. I haven't been here too much lately so I don't know why he was banned and I don't want to open a can of worms on a Q&A thread. When I click on his name it gives me an option to email him, and that form comes up, so I did. I was wondering if he would get it. I guess there's no harm in mentioning his name and asking if anyone knows him or has a contact. I don't know how touchy the whole BANNED thing is or not. He was only a member for less than a year, but he has a few wrenches I'd like.

Chances are he's back with a new name or still reading post. I'd post his banned name so he knows your looking for him.
