I have this set of Barcalo Double Box End (DBE) deep offset in the holder which I want to restore the holder. It seems there was at one time something yellow printed/painted on the holder. It still has a bit of red paint on it but thats it. Anyone have a picture of what should be on the holder ? The catalogs don't show it the one I have seen. Are these war time wrenches as they don't seem to be chromed looks like some zinc like coating.

The wrenches could be wartime and cad plated so you should be very careful when cleaning them since airborne cad particles are poisonous. The holders from that period were generally just painted with red enamel which typically chips off. I’m not familiar with any yellow paint being used. They made many different holders. well thanks on that Cad plating warning. I can just make out some yellow paint and thought it might be a set number or something like that.
