On a recent trip I took I found a table full of American made hammers and one of the happened to be a Barco ball pein hammer. I made a quick call today and spoke with a very nice lady named Lisa at the Barco Industries Inc. I asked if all their hand tools were made in the USA, and she said that "most were, but a few were made in China". The ones coming from overseas were their lower class line of tools an she said off the top of her head that " some of the smaller claw hammers were not from the USA, but most of the other tools were indeed made in the USA."

I like a web-sites that tells you some kind of History of when the company started and the person that started the company but their web-site is just one small blurb with not much information; they say they are a member of the Phoenix Forge and that many of their tools are forged in Pennsylvania then assembled at Barco.

I will leave you with a few links and some pictures, (please note it is very hard to make out the Barco name but it is there).
