Bargain Butcher Block Bench Top

Menards is selling butcher block tops thru Labor Day at incredible prices. I just picked up a 25 x 96 for $129, and the 36 x 72 is only $149!! I was tempted to get the bigger one, but my garage does not have the additional space to fit.

The top is made of birch and very heavy! Way better than the Sears "Rubber Wood" tops.

Online it says they're solid. Great price, I'm currently shopping for tops and this is the best I've found - too bad there's not a Menards within a 1000 miles

They are solid, but the pieces of wood are not full length of the top. Made up of shorter pieces spliced together.

Pretty good discount on those, lowest I've seen was $119 back in 2014 on the 72x36.
