Hello all, new to this forum but it seems like the perfect place to post pics of my recent find here in Oklahoma. Don't know much about it but i sure hope i can find some info. I was going to make a coffee table out of it
I dont know how it is supposed to work so that translate to "dont know if its complete"
Ita a weaver auto or truck ambulance with a patent date of Jan 19, 1915. Im going to try and post a few pics. If there is any interest or if you have information on it, please message me or post it here. Many thanka in advance. I had posted this earlier in the wrong area but this an attempt to get it in the correct forum. Sorry about that.

F. o. b. means "free on board" which is a term to describe the the price includes loading the item on board the transportation means (wagon, truck, railcar, ship, etc.) at the point of sale. In this case, the point of sale would be the factory.

I once had a case where I bought two 60-ton Caterpillar mining trucks and negotiated with the salesman that they be shipped fob the sales yard. The yard had a rail spur and I negotiated shipping both trucks on one flatcar. The salesman had expected me to have lowboy trucks pick up the loads, and they would just have to drive them onto the lowboy trailers. Instead, they had to chain them down on the flatcars, chock them, and other things the railroad insisted on. They tried to bill me $20,000 for the "extra" work, but we pointed out to their legal department the "fob" language in the sales documents, and the had to drop the issue!

Here is what I have on the weaver auto ambulance

From the looks of your picture the wheels are the only original part of the piece.
I'd love to find one to add to my collection of old floor jacks.

I'm glad you posted that close up of the Weaver add Don. I've saved several auto ambulance adds and pics recently but the add you posted shows the axle attachments and tongue set up better than most. Very few turn up complete these days. I found one this summer and will probably end up fabricating something close to those saddles to dress mine out. It had been refitted to taxi light aircraft around and the axle yokes were missing. Ed.
