Barn/Garage

I can not believe construction is getting ready to start on my barn. I've waited a long time. Lots of trees have to come down first. If it ever drys up, they'll get started. I hope it will measure up to some I've seen on here. I have secretly stolen lots of ideas, came up with a plan and got things going...So wish me luck. I'll post updates as it happens.

SW Ohio is where we are. We were at church tonite and I talked with a tree guy there. He wants all the wood for firewood. We're starting with ~40 trees. All different sizes of course. I will post pix as they come. See ya all.

Thought there was only about 40 trees to come down but it looks more like sixty or more. The foundation guy is showing up soon.

Not really. It's just 20D x 32W, two story. I don't do any mechanic work so it's just for storing my truck and tractor mainly. It wil have two 9x7 garage doors (that look like barn doors) along with two service doors on the front. One picture window on the side and two smaller windows upstairs. I will eventually add a porch on one end and a carport on the on the other. I have a Sinclair gas pump and some more goodies to add to it also. It will not be a "mahall" but it will be great for me. I'm headed out to get some pix now, from where they cut some of the trees. Beavo, I was in your neck of the woods this past week. Bought a seat for the truck. Thanks for checking.

Lost a lot more trees this week. Been burnin brush all evening. I still can't get the pix to work.

Had to halt the build because of rain. I don't know what I'm doing wrong, but I still can't get pictures posted. I'm tryin'...
Oh, the tree guys ended up cutting down 66 trees. That's a lot.

I believe he's talking about Germantown that's South of Dayton. German Village is in Columbus.

We're actually SW of Dayton. ~15/20 min from Indiana. We live out in the country with 5 acres. That's enuf for me. It's mostly woods tho which helps with the mowing. I hope we can get restarted working by Friday.

we had a **** ton rain last night we had about 7" of rain in yard when i got home from work last night and there wasn't any rain before i left
