Our house has a 20' x 24' barn a few feet away. The house was built about 1890 and the barn supposedly earlier - (maybe 1860?). Wiring in the house has been re-done. All the knob-and-tube and funky grounds are gone. Property was supposedly a chicken farm back in the day.
Barn is three stories, unheated, and serves as storage and my woodworking shop. One son (21) got a motorcycle two years ago. That prompted me to pursue a lifelong itch and get one of my own. They live in a 14' x 25' shed attached to the barn. Current project is to replace the carriage doors on the shed with larger ones and install an automatic opener.
My lovely wife is from Toronto. She is a quilter and knitter (a few patterns published).
Catellus is Latin for "little dog". I think it's funny that it starts with "cat". Our Newfoundland mix is ~100lbs and tall enough to rest his chin on the table hoping for a hand-out.
