Hi All,
I've been lurking on here for a while, gaining ideas and the like, so thought it time to share my garage/workshop.
It's a single garage 6.7m x 3.65m (22ft x 12ft) attached to the side of our house in Fremantle, Western Australia. I'm in to a bit of everything, cars, metal work, woodwork, 3D printing etc so trying to accommodate it all in there. Currently have (going clockwise from front door) plumbed in dust extractor, air compressor, 3D printer enclosure, locker for paint/aerosols etc, workbench, 18in bandsaw, press, sink, beer fridge (and over flow freezer from the house), racks from gearboxes (old C4 and future T5 for the mustang and a landrover box waiting rebuild..), drill press, mitre saw, router table, mini lathe and mill. Plus plenty of storage, hand and power tools etc. Timber is in a thin rack on the side of the garage with a tarpaulin cover.
Big mistake was not concreting the floor when we bought the house, instead its just slabs. Not great, particularly jacking cars.. floor jack got stuck once lifting my old E39 touring and dropped it! lucky the subframe landed on the jack so didn't go far.
Future plans are to concrete the floor (duh..) and fit a flush scissor lift... one day! Anyway, hope you enjoy and maybe gives some ideas.
Cheers
Nick (aka Barra)
