Base for Drill Press/Pallet Jack

Made a base for my Clausing drill press, so that I can move it around easily with my pallet jack, yet be stable when parked.

I've just about decided everything in my shop will be pallet jackable. Still sets down firm, but move it when you need to.

best thing to do with big bulky stuff .

Picked up my used pallet jack, like new condition for $130. I have metal cabinets I rigged so I can move around with the jack and I'm planning on making a welding table the same way

They were 4" square tube, I removed 1 side with my plasma cutter.

On some items I used 4x4” angle iron to create “wings”



Or bent flat bar on edge...
