My insulated garage is 16x36 (576 sq ft), and I'm looking to heat it during the winter months. Basically I would like to just set the heaters on 10 degrees to keep the dampness under control. Using the 10 watts per sq ft theory, I would need 5760 watts of heat. I have one 2000w base board heater, one 2500w base board heater and one 1500w heater with blower. My question is this, is installing the base board heaters heading in the right direction? OR, should I just use ONE 4800watt ceiling mounted heater with fan? I'm looking for what would be more efficient.
