Baseboard in garage

Looking for recommendations for baseboard trim in the garage. The garage is framed and drywalled on top of a 12" stem wall. Most of the drywall has ~1/2" gap above the concrete. Looking for PVC or similar material so it does not wick moisture. White and not requiring paint would be a nice bonus. Low cost is a bigger bonus. Just do not want the vinyl self adhesive trim (for various reasons, but including not all of the walls are on top of the stem wall, one overhangs).

It is short, but this looks like the lowest cost per ft I can find. Any other suggestions?

$5.11 per 8ft

I would go with a pre primed pine 1x4, but they do also offer it in a pvc material now although it is pricy. Standard sized residential base is available at the big box stores in pvc also, but my experience with it is not very good as it tends to break very easily.

Azek, but sit down before you get a price.
I would use rubber base, the good commercial stuff that takes glue, not the crappy rolled up self adhesive stuff.

You don't want those flex cove that you glue on, I can understand that..

You can use PVC baseboards that is for bathrooms

they take nails, I don't see an issue there?

Yes, that is what I would like to do. Looking for feedback on specific materials to use, preferably if someone knows a good low cost source.

Home depot and lowes have some to choose from.
ordering elsewhere is just going to be more expensive due to shipping.
