I have a 400 sq foot basement area that I'd like to use for storage. The concrete was poured about a year ago and has a plastic vapor barrier underneath. I was thinking of using an epoxy system on the floor. I was going to grind the surface with an Edco single disc machine with stones then use Legacy Industrial's Stabdard epoxy coating / primer then Follow up with the SD epoxy. I'm not sure about the non skid factor and wether or not I should use a clear sealer or gloss coat over it. Any thoughts?

The good news is your not going to have a lot of the issues we find in garages. The bad news is moisture can be an issue. What part of the country are you in?

The products you picked work well together.
Check for moisture and if you anticipate wet conditions you may want to consider a urethane topcoat with a non-skid additive.

Urethane is thin and will hold the non-skid well without any sinking in.

I purchased Legacy industrial products yesterday after grinding the floor with a two disc Edco machine. Pictures to follow the install.
