Last week I painted a section of my basement with seal-krete. it is already peeling. I prepped with their cleaner, followed their instructions. The floor is bare concrete slab.
My goals are to; 1. eliminate the dust, 2. make it easier to clean and 3, make it look nice. Eventually I will finish it with an engineered or similar floor, but until then I need to be able to work down there as I recently moved my office there.
What are my options for covering the area I already pained and for painting the rest of it? I am looking for something inexpensive (ranch with very large basement) and easy to DIY over time. There is too much stiff stored here to clean out and do it all at once.
Sealing was my first option and then using carpet in areas but I like to look of the grey paint.
I have five - 5ftx4ft windows so ventilation is very good.
