Basement floor coating

Hi all, looking for some advice on coating part of a basement floor. I am not looking to use the more expensive garage floor coatings. I am looking for opinions from those that use the basic types you can find at Home Depot, Menards.
Floor use will be for a small hobby area. Just want something other than plain concrete and easy to sweep.

Have you done a moisture test first to insure that your basement will accept a coating?

Get a rubber mat that you can take out and hose off. rubberflooringinc.com

I have a couple mats. I need something cheap but good for a floor covering. There will be workbenches and shelving on it.
