Not specifically a garage but I figure someone here should know.
I got a basement drain backing up and plugged, it’s got a ball type check valve.
Is there a special tool for removing this? Nothing coming up online.

Thanks! I wound up chipping it for a sample, it’s freakin brass. Mind blown. And relieved.
Removed it with a hammer and chisel. I figured I’d have to destroy everything to remove it.
I wound up not replacing it, as it didn’t hold anything back anyway.

In the process of working on this, I discovered I have a hole in the pimple under the concrete somewherr that keeps causing plugging issues. I’m supposed to excavate the floor.
I think I’m just gonna sell this damn house with all the issues. Garage has been on standby while waiting for the funds to pay for the nonstop issues.
