I have a 2,500+ sqft basement in a new home that I am interested in floor coating options.
It's a walk-out basement, new floor, no dampness, finished to a smooth surface.
Half of the space will be utilities and storage (little wear), the other half will be woodworking shop (more wear).
My goal is to make the workshop brighter, more reflective than natural concrete, and make sweeping/clean-up easier. The utility side can be same or even sealed to simplify sweeping/clean-up.
It's a basement, so fumes are a concern during installation as we're living above.
This will be a DIY job, the cost for professionals is prohibitive at this time. It's a large area, so the amount of preparation required is a factor.
