basement flooring

Hi, looking for any ideas on a cheap floor covering or epoxy for a basement floor.
Thinking a garage mat like 17x22.
I have the tiles in the garage, so i dont want to do that.
Not sure about paint, as id have to paint the whole basement.
Im trying to make a workout area and a room for the kids to ruin with paint and messes thanks

What is the current condition of the basement concrete floor? Pictures?

The floor is in good shape, no moisture problems. I have a heat pump water heater, so theres constant dehumidifying. Thanks
