I have a friend who needs to clean out his father-in-law's house. My friend doesn't know much about tools, and I don't know much more... but the basement is filled with Craftsman 50s-80s era tools: Table saws, edgers, lathes, drill presses, etc... plus wrenches and box after unopened box of stuff. It may be good or it may be junk. I don't know. There's been some leaking and general dampness in the basement so a lot of these tools are rusted but they seem to be fundamentally sound.
What I'd like to do is locate someone in the Atlanta area who buys and sells old tools. Perhaps I could help arrange a visit. What I don't want is for dozens of people to call my friend, asking that he show them through the basement.
Is this doable?
